The Blues confirm the signing of Saul Niguez
confirmed the arrival of Saul Niguez on loan for the rest of the season, with an option to purchase at the end of his term. Thomas Tuchel was looking to strengthen his midfield, especially after N’Golo Kante’s injury, and will be happy to have secured the player.

Chelsea youngster joins Venezia on loan
Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu has secured a loan deal with Venezia, the club have confirmed. The youngster extended his contract with the Blues until 2024 before the move. Ampadu is highly rated at Stamford Bridge and there is no option to buy in the loan agreement.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan with Sheffield United, appearing 25 times for the Blades. He drew attention with his performances for the Blades, but with too severe a competition for places on the London side, Thomas Tuchel chose to send him on loan again.
