Suara.com – Space Telescope Hubble released a new image showing a rare object in the form of slashes of glowing gas in space.
Its appearance is similar to the lightsaber weapon in the Star Wars films.
The object was the Herbig–Haro called HH111.
Herbig–Haro is the brightest part of the nebulosity associated with newborn stars.

Herbig–Haro is formed by three bursts of partially ionized gas ejected by a star colliding with a cloud of gas and dust.
Hubble’s HH111 is located in the constellation Orion. Its visible bursts of gas looked like the light of a lightsaber.
This was the first time Herbig–Haro’s sight had looked like a lightsaber in space.
In 2015, NASA also shared Hubble’s image of the Herbig–Haro Jet HH24.
Reported from CNET, Wednesday (1/9/2021), spectacular images of HH111 come from Hubble’s Wide Field Camera 3, which sees both optically and infrared.

The ability to make observations in infrared lends clarity to the Hubble images.
The collaborative telescope between NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) has now spent more than 31 years observing the universe.
Despite experiencing technical errors, the giant telescope has survived for years and provides the best images of objects in space.
