He might be the reason why you are finally so fan of Good Girls, or at least the reason why you started on the adventure. If he is playing the role of a heartless gangster, or nearly so, in real life Manny Montana is not the same man.
While growing up in California and studying journalism in college, Manny Montana eventually moved into acting. It was in 2013 that the latter joined the cast of the Graceland series, then Conviction, before being really revealed to the general public thanks to the Good Girls series in 2018. Very often selected for roles of villains, in particular thanks to / because of his tattoos, Manny Montana is actually a fake bad boy.
The clothes do not make the man. And for good reason, in real life, the actor is part of an association fighting against breast cancer. But that’s not all, a real man with a big heart, the one who plays Rio has been married for several years, and obviously very much in love. He also regularly shares photos of his wife, coach Adelfa Marr, on Instagram.
Good Girls canceled because of him?
The fourth season of the series was not to be the last. Unfortunately, after an internal disagreement, the producer and NBC decided to end it hastily. Indeed, Manny Montana would have, according to several American magazines, refused to lower his salary following some money worries of the production… added to that, a disagreement between him and Christina Hendricks and that gives the end of a success.
A real disappointment for the actresses, but also for the fans, who, in addition to having to say goodbye to Good Girls, have just been terribly disappointed by the “hasty and sloppy” end, while this new season began on the hats of wheels!
In any case, we, even if we are very disappointed, we still appreciate the sex appeal of Manny Montana, to find in the slideshow above.
