Willian made a farewell tweet with Arsenal. Chelsea Legend, Didier drogba, grabbed with a laugh.
Arsenal and Willian have officially parted ways ahead of the close of the transfer market this summer. Both agreed to terminate the contract.
The Brazilian winger actually has two years remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium. Willian did not seek compensation in terms of the duration of the work and has now become a Corinthians player.
After confirming myself to part with Arsenal, Willian uploaded an infographic of himself in a London Cannon costume and accompanied by the words “Thank You”.

Willian and Drogba both played for Chelsea in the 2014/2015 season. Uploads Drogba it can be interpreted as hoping Willian returns to Chelsea or confirming that he has returned to Corinthians as the first professional club.
Willian made 37 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal in total. The former Shakhtar Donetsk player recorded one goal and seven assists.
Willian is one of the highest paid players at Arsenal. He gets paid 240 thousand pounds (Rp 4.7 billion) per week.
The decision not to accept the contract compensation as well as being Willian’s weapon to prove that he came to Arsenal not just for money. So far, he is considered not to perform well and his presence is solely because of money.
“Unfortunately on the pitch it didn’t go as we planned and hoped. I received a lot of criticism especially from some members of the media that I came here for financial reasons,” said Willian.
“I hope my actions today made it clear to those people and that they now understand that this is not the case.”
“I hope this teaches some people a lesson that they shouldn’t judge and create a bad environment to make them feel important, although I accept that it’s part of the game.”
