FC Bayern with a strange video about the Sabitzer transfer – fans split: “Now I’m hungry”

Marcel Sabitzer changes to FC Bayern. After a long back and forth, the transfer has been perfect since Monday. The Austrian is presented with a curious video.

Munich – Sometime during the course of Monday it became apparent. In the evening it was reported as perfect what the image and Sky had already announced: Marcel Sabitzer is moving from RB Leipzig to FC Bayern *. At Säbener Strasse in Munich *, the Austrian receives a contract until 2025. There is speculation about the transfer, it should amount to around 15 million euros.

So the three-pack of the “Red Bulls” is perfect. With defense chief Dayot Upamecano (42.5 million), coach Julian Nagelmsann * (15 million) and now captain Sabitzer, the third RB player will move to the Isar this summer. The German record champions are transferring more than 70 million euros to Leipzig.

As with Joshua Kimmich’s contract extension last week *, FC Bayern also posted a short video on the social channels for the Sabitzer deal. The response to this? Let’s say: shared. Because: Not all fans liked the clip. But what was there to see?

FC Bayern with a strange video about the Sabitzer deal – fans react split: “Now I’m hungry”

First you can see a pan in which Kaiserschmarrn is being prepared. Known to be one of the national dishes of Austria. Then some fresh fruit fell into the Kaiserschmarrn and the dish was finely dusted with powdered sugar. The video was accompanied by Austrian opera sounds. In itself a fine thing, but suddenly the music stops, the dessert disappears from the table, a voice from the off says: “Well, well, well! Nothing Austria! Mia san noch in Bayern ”- and a plate with two white sausages, sweet mustard and pretzels can be seen. A wheat beer is served with it.

Subsequently, a puzzled Sabitzer can be seen, who is apparently surprised that “his” Kaiserschmarrn has disappeared. The sounds of the opera have turned into a typical pub melody, the newcomer grins into the camera and says with a satisfied smile: “Yeah, bassd! Pack mas! “

Of course, the clip wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. And it will probably not win a short film award either, but some FCB fans did not really think the video was a success. One supporter announced that he would “never again want to eat Kaiserschmarrn”. Yet another fan got a real appetite from the video and wrote: “Now I’m really hungry!”. Another fan asked rhetorically: “Who are you, and what have you done with our social media department?” Which should be understood more as a criticism of the video.

What’s more, the food gag apparently didn’t work at all for fans who do not come from Europe. A South African FCB fan asks on Twitter: “I understand the beer and pretzel thing, but what is the first dish? Austrian? “(German: Ok, I get the beer and pretzel thing, but what was on the first plate? Something from Austria?). Maybe a simple message would have done it too … (smk) * tz.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA
