Argentina’s Luca Vildoza leaves Vitoria for the New York Knicks

Argentinian international leader Luca Vildoza (1.91m, 25) will sign a contract with the New York Knicks has announced Baskonia Vitoria. According to ESPN, it is $ 13.6 million over four years but only the current season is guaranteed.

“Luca Vildoza will start a new professional adventure far from Vitoria-Gasteiz after leaving Baskonia. The club and the player have come to an agreement to go their separate ways after four seasons in which the Argentinian point guard played a total of 228 official matches ”, wrote the Spanish club in a press release.

Author of the basket which gave Saski Baskonia the title of champion 2020, Vildoza arrived in Gasteiz in the summer of 2017 and he leaves the club as league champion and MVP of the final.

Vildoza follows in the footsteps of his compatriots Facundo Campazzo and Gabriel Deck, who left the lega Endesa in high season for the NBA.
