FC Schalke 04 ended the coaching discussion with the first home win of the season. After the 3: 1 (1: 1) against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday evening, head coach Dimitrios Grammozis can go into the upcoming international break a little more relaxed.
The reason for this was the functioning storm duo Marius Bülter and Simon Terodde, who turned the second division hit in favor of the previously ailing Schalke. Bülter scored in front of 25,000 spectators immediately after Düsseldorf’s lead by Shinta Appelkamp in the twelfth minute to 1: 1 (15th), Terodde increased directly after the break to 2: 1 (46th) and shortly before the end after a long Düsseldorf urge phase to the final score .
At Schalke, Gernot Ranftl came on shortly before the end (86th), Michael Langer sat on the bench as a substitute goalkeeper. With the guests from Düsseldorf, Christoph Klarer was on the field for the full season.
