In recent years, producer Magi Halvadjian seems to have made his shows like clones. The same faces are spinning and there is no surprise even for the finalists who win its formats.
“Rachkov’s Forbidden Show” on Nova TV also enters this mold, as part of the team is the singer – Rafi Bohosyan, who is a two-time winner in the competition for imitators, and will now dance the ballet “Funky Monkeys”. The troupe of the producer’s daughter-in-law – Alexandra Eneva appears in all other productions of Magi Halvadjian.
Dimitar Rachkov returns to the air of Nova on September 12. The same date was chosen by the competitors from BTV for the start of the music show “The Voice of Bulgaria”. This fall, two of the favorite faces of Rachkov’s producer – Magi Halvadjian – will work in it. These are Lubo Kirov, who for many years was a mentor in the competition of “The Voice” show “X Factor”, and Dara, whose career started from “X Factor”.
The young singer was on the verge of victory there, and later – in the “Drops”. From September, however, she and Lubo will be in direct competition with Rachkov and Magi Halvadjian. To deal with the problem of fighting for spectators, the producer apparently believes that the Sunday show needs a little sex appeal in the face of several dancers. And he immediately arranged the ballet of his daughter-in-law Alexandra with another TV engagement in Nova. This logically means additional income in the choreographer’s coffers. While performing with Rachkov, the ballerinas will work in the other show of Halvadjian during the autumn TV season – “The Masked Singer”.
So far, the television has only announced that he will return to the screen in September, but did not specify the date of its launch. Most likely, they expect to see the entire program schedule of their competitors from BTV, in order to decide on the back of which of the shows there they will put their most expensive show.
Whatever is decided, one thing is certain – that in “The Masked Singer”, as well as in “Rachkov’s Forbidden Show”, the girls of Alexandra Eneva will dance. Such a busy schedule is happening for the first time in the history of the Funky Monkeys ballet.
So far, he has been engaged in only one show per season. He will now work more, and is expected to receive double fees from television. However, if this helps the rating of the productions, Nova’s expenses will be fully justified, Weekend writes.
“Rachkov’s Forbidden Show” enjoys a good audience, which, however, does not correspond to the money spent on the show. At the end of the spring, it was even considered being taken off the air. In the end, it was decided that the show remains for at least another season, but the format will be modified.
Many of the screenwriters have been replaced, in the future they will rely on much more laughter, in addition to ballet, another innovation is planned – “Crazy Sketch Room”. How all this will affect the rating remains to be seen.
