We often receive the news that an actor dies much too early. This time it becomes clear that Matthew Mindler passed away at the age of 19. Not much is known about the cause of death yet.
Mindler was featured as the character River in the comedy in 2011. Our Idiot Brother including Paul Rudd. He was previously seen in the soap As the World Turns and later he appeared in, among other things, the TV series Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and the TV movie Chad: An American Boy.
Cause of death still unclear
It became clear through Variety that Mindler disappeared from his school, Millersville University in Pennsylvania, on Aug. 26, and was found dead yesterday. His body was found in Manor Township.
After it became known that Mindler was missing, the following post appeared via the Twitter account of Millersville University.
Police are asking for help in finding 20-year-old Matthew Mindler, a first-year student from Hellertown, PA, who has been missing since Tuesday evening August 24, 2021.
