On Friday evening there was an accident between a 63-year-old driver and a hedge at the parking lot in Kastanienallee in Mühlenbeck. According to witnesses, the 63-year-old tried to start the engine of her Citroen several times. After a few unsuccessful attempts, the Citroen started rolling and hit the hedge that was damaged by the collision.
A breath alcohol test on site showed a value of 3.1 per mille. The 63-year-old’s blood was drawn and her driver’s license was confiscated. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the drunk driver.
