realme Pad will be Powered by Helio G80?

realme already confirmed a few months ago that it will launch its first tablet this year. Several details of the device that will launch as the realme Pad have been popping up since its arrival was confirmed. Now, the key details have been revealed.

The latest info about the realme Pad has been shared by Indian YouTuber, Sahil Karoul. Previously, through Twitter, Karoul wrote that the Realme Pad will be equipped with the Helio chipset from MediaTek. Unfortunately, he didn’t reveal further about the Helio series that realme will embed into his new tablet.

However, recently Karoul was back on Twitter and publicly revealed that the MediaTek chipset that will be in the realme Pad tablet is the Helio G80. Yes! The information may be disappointing for those who expected the realme Pad to arrive with a flagship chipset.

The Helio G80 itself, which was launched by MediaTek last year, is a chipset for mid-range devices. Of course, this can’t be compared to the more powerful chipsets found in competing tablets like the Mi Pad 5 series. Yes! Mi Pad series comes with Snapdragon 860 and Snapdragon 870.

However, with a mid-range chipset, the realme Pad should be much cheaper than its competitors. Other details of the Realme Pad that have been revealed include having a 10.4-inch AMOLED screen, quad speakers placed on all four sides, an 8 MP camera and stylus support that can be stored in the tablet.

Other reports also mention embedded power supply support. Most likely, the realme Pa will arrive with a 7,100mAh battery. Even so, it is not yet known how much fast charging power it has. A leak from the same source states that the realme Pad will launch on September 9.
