The DC Extended Universe continues to grow, especially as film studio Warner Bros. has films and series made exclusively for the streaming service HBO max. These are then made in addition to the productions for the cinema.
Now Grace Randolph, who often has pretty good sources and is therefore regularly good with her scoops, reports that the iconic Batman villain Bane will be featured in a movie or series on HBO Max.
Bane can be seen
Randolph took the news to Twitter. She reported that the villain will not get his own movie or series, but that he will be part of another production for the streaming service.
There is no indication of which series it will be. But there seems to be a good chance that this is a new project – and not one of the DC series that is already in the works like Titans, Doom Patrol of Batwoman.
One possibility could be the series being developed as a spin-off from The Batman. That film will be released in March 2022 and the series should follow sometime after that. In it, we see the corrupt Gotham police and learn more about Batman’s early years.
