US President Joe Biden said that he has reliable information about the impending attacks on the territory of Kabul airport in the near future. This is stated on Saturday, August 28 on website White House.

“Our command informed me that an attack is highly probable in the next 24-36 hours. I gave instructions to take all possible measures to protect our forces and assured that they have all the authority and resources to protect our men and women on the ground.” stated Biden.
According to the president, the US military command has assured him that it is able to cope with the task.
“Despite the dangerous situation in the Afghan capital, the United States continues to evacuate,” the president said.
He also specified that just one day before the American military had taken out 6,800 more people from Afghanistan, including “hundreds of Americans.”
