Växjö is in a critical situation during the season and must soon start taking points. Before Saturday’s clash away against Djurgården, the victory column still echoed empty for the table last after 13 matches.

Magnus Pålsson has been brought in from Helsingborg’s U19 team.
And at Stockholm’s stadium, Djurgården got off to a flying start.
The 10th minute Julia Walentowicz threw herself forward and forced a return on Sara Olai’s shot.
Växjö hunted, but did not succeed with a draw. The closest came to the corner after just over 70 minutes when the crossbar got in the way of Tilde Johansson’s shot.
The match ended 1-0 to Djurgården.

– The work effort was fantastic and that was the most important thing today. That everything would be right after four training days together is basically impossible so it was really nice.
Despite the victory, Djurgården remains in eighth place on the same points as the seventh Vittsjö, 17, and still undefeated Växjö consolidates its jumbo place with its four points. Växjö has seven points up to Piteå and Kif Örebro which has eleven points.
