Nintendo today released a new trailer for the upcoming Metroid Dread that shows off the game’s new mysterious enemies and some of the abilities and weapons that Samus has at his disposal to fight them.
In this trailer, Samus is attacked by a mysterious creature shortly after she lands on the planet ZDR. The mysterious figure appears to be a Chozo and it is a very intelligent and technologically advanced species that believed that their purpose was to create peace throughout the galaxy. Eventually, civilization unfortunately reached a turning point and living Chozo are now very rarely seen.
Who then is this Chozo warrior and why is it attacking Samus with such force? This is something you can get an answer to if you play the game once it is released to Switch on October 8.
