Suara.com – The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is touted as the successor of the Space Telescope Hubble, finally finished testing.
Now, it is now ready to be sent to the launch site, after previously experiencing delays.
“Many of the JWST tests and checks are designed to ensure that the world’s most complex space science observatory will operate as expected,” NASA said in an announcement on the completion of the test.
JWST is a joint project of NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Canadian Space Agency.

This telescope is designed to investigate the mystery of the origin of the universe and learn about the formation of stars, planets and galaxies in the past.
Previously, NASA had hoped the telescope would launch in 2007. However, due to delays due to funding until the Covid-19 pandemic, the space agency only reached the end of testing in 2021.
Reported from CNET, Friday (27/8/2021), preparations for the delivery of the telescope will be completed in September. The JWST will be sent through the Panama Canal and up to French Guiana in South America.
The launch of the James Webb Space Telescope is scheduled for October 31, 2021 at the earliest with the help of the Ariane 5 rocket.
JWST’s science operations will begin approximately six months after launch if all goes according to plan.
