A total of 33 members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD affixed their signatures in the letter interpellation to the Governor of DKI Anies Baswedan related to Formula E. Here’s the list.
View detik.com, the council members who supported the interpellation consisted of 25 people from the PDIP faction and 8 people from the PSI faction. In fact, the two compact factions submitted an interpellation letter to the leadership of the DKI DPRD yesterday.
Deputy Chairman of the PDIP Faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ima Mahdiah, said that later this letter would be followed up in a plenary meeting. In order for the interpellation to take place, the plenary meeting must be attended by 54 members of the DPRD.
“We’re done with the bamus. After the bamus we have a plenary session. We need about 54 votes from the members of the council, we hope that friends who might want to come forward as individuals can attend the plenary forum,” Ima said when confirmed, Friday ( 27/8/2021).
For this reason, Ima will invite other DRPD members to participate in the interpellation. The goal is that the provincial government is open in presenting the results of the Formula E feasibility study after the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We hope that friends who may want to come forward as individuals can attend the plenary forum. Because if we only lose 33 votes in the plenary session, we cannot continue the interpellation,” he said.
In the interpellation later, the member of Commission E also demanded that the DKI Provincial Government be wise in using the budget. Moreover, DKI is currently facing the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Therefore, we who submitted the proposal from the PDIP Faction want the governor to be wiser, manage his finances more, what is more important. Because if Formula E is only for prestige, it’s not urgent,” he said.
