The recently introduced modernized Volkswagen Polo has already arrived on the Czech market in a sharp version of the GTI. Of course, it is the most expensive of the entire offer – it starts at 670,900 crowns. For this, customers will receive the most voluminous engine on offer – a two-liter with 207 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque.
–
That’s seven horses more than the previous version; the torque remains at the same value. Another difference is the absence of a manual transmission – Polo GTI is in the configurator exclusively with a seven-speed dual-clutch DSG.

In addition, the standard is really rich in equipment as standard compared to the basic versions. Let’s mention, for example, the headlights with LED Matrix technology or the Travel Assist system for partially autonomous driving – it is a combination of adaptive cruise control with active lane guidance. Parking sensors and electronic simulation of the XDS self-locking differential are a matter of course.
–
However, things like the regulation of the stiffness of the suspension or the 18 ”wheel, with which the carmaker equipped the white specimen in the photos, are for an additional fee, so it is not a problem to get half over 700 thousand crowns quickly in the configurator – it is already functional.

More civil variants have basic prices from 348 to 561 thousand crowns, depending on equipment, engine and transmission. The ecological version of the TGI with natural gas propulsion costs from 455 thousand crowns.
