A video of the fall of the Mi-17 transport helicopter of the Mexican Ministry of the Navy has been published. Eyewitnesses published the video of the accident on social networks.
The published record shows that the helicopter began to sharply lose altitude, rotate and as a result fell. As a result of the accident, the tail boom of the helicopter was completely destroyed. The blades and fuselage were also damaged.
In total, there were 20 people on board the helicopter, including representatives of the Veracruz state authorities and military personnel, four of them were injured.
In particular, the Minister of the Interior of the state, Eric Cisneros, was on board. He received minor injuries. There are no fatalities as a result of the accident.
