This morning the Collaboration Agreement was signed between the Jalisco Social Assistance System, the Jalisco Solidario Volunteer Council, the Jalisco Code and the Asociación Mujeres Hispanas AC, so that the Code Jalisco pools offer the El Carril Rosa program, aimed at the rehabilitation of women suffering from arm lymphedema as a consequence of breast cancer.
The Coordinator of the Jalisco Solidario Volunteering, Joanna Santillán Álvarez, invited women who have gone through the recovery process after breast cancer, to appropriate these spaces, since without them the effort made by people and institutions would be of no use.
“Today there are almost 60 women from El Carril Rosa who are going to have this service, which is going to impact families. He comes to dignify, and he comes to tell you in a very clear way that in Jalisco, the entire team is working for the health of Jalisco ”, expressed Santillán Álvarez.
Similarly, Ms. Leticia Lara y Cárdenas, president of Mujeres Hispanas AC, expressed her approval for the growth of the program, whose scope will now be greater and will provide care to more patients.
“Thank you very much for uniting these wills so that El Carril Rosa can move forward. We are growing more and more since we decided that we wanted to do something different. We are the only association that has this program that, when it started, the first door I touched was the Code one, but I was not prepared for it. Now, things are different, we started to investigate, and now we want to continue growing with this noble project that is to improve the quality of life of women who have suffered from breast cancer, and above all, lymphedema ”.
Improving the quality of life through physical activity and influencing people’s health is one of the objectives of the Code with the signing of this agreement with El Carril Rosa, by making the pools of the Sports Centers available to the program Metropolitan, Mayor, Paradero, and soon, López Mateos, as indicated by the General Director of Code Jalisco, Fernando Ortega Ramos.
“This stage is one of the spaces that the Code Jalisco has with a pool, and that we will make available to the people through this type of agreement, such as the one we now celebrate with El Carril Rosa. Today we can realize this alliance with which we can support society from our trenches, with sport and its power of transformation, helping to recover from health problems. These programs allow us to strengthen ourselves as a society, with these public policies that allow us to improve the quality of life ”.
For his part, the Secretary of the Social Assistance System, Alberto Esquer Gutiérrez, stressed that the current state Administration, headed by Governor Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, has allocated a significant amount of resources to dignify sports and educational spaces, as well as for training of families and the reconstruction of the social fabric.
“Today is the sum of efforts. To the extent that all of us, from whatever trench we are in, put that grain of sand to have a better society, a better family, a better neighborhood, a better neighborhood, it is how we can find the satisfaction of every day to get ahead, “he said. Esquer Gutiérrez, who highlighted the life testimony offered by the beneficiaries of El Carril Rosa in their struggle to face adversity.
