Having determined the first three qualifiers (Benfica, Ludogorets and Young Boys), via play-off, for the group stage of the Champions League, UEFA updated the club ranking, without changes in the 25 top positions in the classification.
After the triumph (2-1) at Estádio da Luz, the goalless draw in Eindhoven was enough to put Benfica in the group stage, qualifying for four points and climbing to 26th place in the ranking, overtaking Lazio ( 27th) and Sporting (28th).
SC Braga, who are guaranteed their presence in the Europa League group stage, dropped to 46th place, Paços de Ferreira and Santa Clara, fighting for a place in the Conference League group stage, gained European status and occupy the 119th place in equally.
FC Porto continues to be the best ranked Portuguese team, in 15th place, in a hierarchy led by Bayern. Manchester City and Liverpool close the podium.
