OVERVIEW. Cream cheese, pasta and sausage off the shelves: again… (Brussels)

The FASFC is again recalling various products on Wednesday due to a too high level of residues of crop protection products (ethylene oxide). There have been more than 50 recalls since the end of June. You can view the full list below.

It concerns cream cheese with different flavors of the Jana brand. The product was sold in various retail chains in 120 gram plastic jars, with peach flavour, chocolate flavour, raspberry flavour, strawberry flavour, tutti frutti flavor and vanilla flavour.

The food agency is also withdrawing “Pasta alla Curcuma e Pepe BIO” from the Pasta Natura brand from the market. The pasta was in a paper package of 250 grams.

Parsley sausage from the Boni Selection brand is also no longer allowed to be sold because it contains ethylene oxide. The 150 gram sausage was sold in Colruyt, OKay and OKay Compact stores.

Finally, the food supplements “Curcuma Piperine bio” and “Curcuma Gingembre Piperine bio” of the Superdiet brand are also being recalled. These products were sold in Belgium through various points of sale.
