McDonald’s suspends sales of milkshakes in the UK due to supply problems

US fast food giant McDonald’s has stopped selling milkshakes and bottled drinks in most parts of the UK due to supply chain problems.

McDonald’s points out that milkshakes and bottled drinks are not currently available in restaurants in England, Scotland and Wales.

The company is currently working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

The announcement came after South Africa’s fast food chain Nando announced last week that it was unable to provide sufficient supplies of chicken and closed about 50 restaurants in the UK. The company blames these problems on staff shortages in supply companies and insufficient availability of truck drivers.
