The Emmy Awards withdraw the award given to the former governor of New York | People

The International Emmy Awards withdrew the award that last year they presented to the then governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, for the accusations of sexual harassment leveled against him and that forced him to resign from his position.

These accusations were supported by a report written by the New York Attorney General’s Office, which intensified the scrutiny to which he was already subjected to being investigated for a motion of no confidence in the state Assembly.
