On the menu, three proposals from prominent female choreographers to open up the possibilities and dream big. Andrea Peña opens the season on September 15 with her play 6,58 : Manifesto, where nine performers and a soprano singer question the codes that govern us, in a manifesto in three paintings carried by great physicality.
Presented at the last FTA, the stunning piece The Milky Way Goddam, by the inimitable Mélanie Demers, returns on stage at the beginning of October. Five performers – four dancers and singer Frannie Holder – deliver a powerful feminine charge that combines dance, theater and concert with rock accents. An event not to be missed.
At the end of October, Lina Cruz also married five dancers and a musician on stage in Morphs, a piece that wants to illuminate the secret cogs of the human psyche by plunging into the universe of being objects populating a parallel world responsible for our imagination and madness. A mischievous writing, which plunges as much into the absurd as the fantasy.
