Believe it or not: ‘Beverly Hills Cop 4’ is coming soon to Netflix


For many years there has been talk of the return of Detective Axel Foley from actor Eddie Murphy and now it seems that the arrival of Beverly Hills Cop 4 can no longer be stopped.

Paramount Pictures worked on the plan for a long time, but about a year and a half ago the studio sold the rights to Netflix. The Hollywood Reporter now reports that shooting will begin soon in the state of California.

The footage would pump about $78 million into the local economy, according to California’s Film and TV Tax Credit Program, and the cameras would have to run for 58 days. The first three films were successively directed by Martin Brest, Tony Scott and John Landis.
