“We’re just focusing on the maker. So it’s the maker and the actor concerned,” he said.
“It’s going to be noisy, it’s also potentially divisive. The risk thatposting will be able to become perpetrators of the ITE Law,” he continued.
So far, said Ramadhan, the police are still conducting analysis and deepening efforts on videos related to Muhammad Kece which are suspected of containing criminal elements. The video will later be submitted to the Ministry of Communication and Information for take down.

“There have been 20 videos that have been blocked or taken down. So it’s not, sorry, there is no omission. The police and Kominfo continue to process this,” he said.
Examples of Muhammad Kece’s lecture material that became controversial were those related to the yellow book and the Prophet Muhammad SAW. It can be seen from Muhammad Kece’s upload on his Youtube channel under the title ‘The Confusing Yellow Book’.
The upload later became controversial and received criticism from a number of quarters. In fact, Religious Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas judged the talk delivered by Muhammad Kece to contain hate speech and insults against religious symbols.
According to Yaqut, lecture and study activities should be used as a space for education and enlightenment. Yaqut said the lecture was a medium to increase the public’s religious understanding of their respective religious beliefs and teachings, not to insult each other’s beliefs and teachings of other religions.
