OPPO participated in the 2021 Smart China Expo with the theme “Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life”. This event takes place in Chongqing, China from August 23 to 26, 2021. OPPO showcased the new MagVOOC fast charging series, in-car connectivity, and several other new technologies.

New air charging and MagVOOC magnetic fast charging
In addition to demonstrating wireless air charging technology, OPPO also revealed the first-ever magnetic flash charging technology, the OPPO MagVOOC series. The new series includes the MagVOOC wireless power bank, which uses a magnetic alignment system to ensure proper alignment between the smartphone and the charger.
Then, the MagVOOC ultra-thin flash charger, comes by adopting a separate design that makes this charger appear thinner. Having such a design, these two devices make it easy for users to take them anywhere.
Lastly, the MagVOOC wireless flash charging stand, which helps users save up to 60% charge preparation time compared to conventional wired charging. OPPO is committed to optimizing its technology and products to provide the best experience for its users.
Smartphone connectivity capabilities integrated in the vehicle
On the other hand, OPPO demonstrated its latest achievements in in-car smartphone connectivity capabilities at the event, including digital car keys, remote vehicle control on OPPO Find X3, remote vehicle control on OPPO Watch 2, and in-car flash charging.
The digital car key allows users to use OPPO smartphones to unlock the car via Bluetooth connection. No cellular network is required in this case, thus offering convenience for daily use.
Remote vehicle control on OPPO Find X3 or OPPO Watch 2 allows users to turn on the air conditioner remotely via an app. It can also help car owners to locate their car by honking the horn from a distance.
In addition, users can also enjoy fast charging from inside the car in a more sophisticated way offered by OPPO. Yes! This technology supports 65W VOOC USB flash charge and 40W VOOC wireless flash charge while driving.
OPPO is also open to cross-industry collaborations to explore new possibilities and forge partnerships with many leading vehicle brands, such as NIO, BYD Auto, and Geely. Later, the smartphone will become the vehicle control center.
More connected IoT devices
Since OPPO adopted the Internet of Experience concept, OPPO’s achievements now include the development of AR Glass 2021 and several other smart home devices. One interesting thing, everything is connected with Ultra Wide Band technology aka UWB.
