Zacatecas, Zac.- Eight book presentations, whose authors were beneficiaries of the Ediciones 2020 call, will be held by the Instituto Zacatecano de Cultura (IZC) “Ramón López Velarde” from August 25 to 27, virtually, through Facebook live.
Under the coordination of the Directorates of Animation and Cultural Diffusion and Teaching and Research, of the IZC, the academic programming will be carried out live, through the site: https://www.facebook.com/Cultura.Zac
The presentations begin on Wednesday, August 25, at 1:00 p.m., with: “Tales of February in March”, by Andrés Briseño, and present: Dalia García and Marco Antonio Flores Zavala, moderated by Adrián Franco; at 5:00 pm “Brief history of the Zacatecan civic militia (1824-1835)”, by José Alexander Sosa Rodríguez, with comments by Elva Martínez Rivera and José Eduardo Jacobo Bernal; moderated by José Alfredo Sánchez Goytia.
To conclude the first day of activity, at 6.30 pm, the book will be presented: “Disdainful of advertising, convinced of the vanity of the printing press. Critical studies around Ramón López Velarde ”, a work coordinated by Edgar AG Encina and Berenice Reyes, and which is part of the tribute to Ramón López Velarde, in a co-edition of the IZC, the Autonomous University of Zacatecas and the Jerezano Institute of Culture.
On Thursday, August 26, at 1:00 p.m., the presentation of “Cantera al volar”, by the author Arturo Gutiérrez Luna; They comment: Priscila Sánchez and Ma. de los Ángeles Navarrete Trujillo, under the moderation of Ricardo Carbral Vera.
That same day, at 5:00 p.m., there will be a presentation of the issue “The typical orchestras in Mexico. From invention to the consolidation of a tradition ”, authored by Sonia Medrano Ruiz and comments by Mariana Terán Fuentes and Alfonso Vázquez Sosa. Moderated by Magdalena Okhuysen Casal.
At 6.30 pm, the presentation of the book “La majestad de lo minim. Essays on Ramón López Velarde ”, by the writer Fernando Fernández. This work is a co-edition of Editorial Artigas and the IZC and is part of the tribute to Ramón López Velarde, on his mourning centenary.
The activities of this editorial program conclude on Friday the 27th. At 1:00 p.m. the virtual presentation of “The habitat of the nomad. Wittgenstein and some pencil notes ”, by Servando López, which will feature comments from Laura Sánchez Solorio and Javier Acosta Escareño; Heidy Cázares moderates this event.
Finally, at 5:00 p.m., also via Facebook live, they present the book “German footprints in Zacatecas. A story of dreams, expectations and realities (1825-1910) ”, by Manuel Sánchez Sánchez, with comments by Isabel Carrillo Schaefer and Marco Antonio Flores Zavala, and moderation by Daniel Iván Arredondo Hernández.
