Vladivostok has been part of the KHL for seven years since 2013. Last spring, due to a coronavirus pandemic, he lost financial support from the Coastal Region and did not apply until last season. This year, however, the KHL Board of Governors has taken Admiral back into the competition if it pays the amounts due to players and coaches from the 2017/18 season by 31 July.
