The Tesla Model Y is one of the small SUVs called the crossover. In terms of size and price, it belongs to the 3 and X models, while the technology is closer to the newer “three” and the concept to the “iksk”. In contrast, the impressive Falcon tailgate is missing. The brand’s model line now consists of four mass-produced models, the designations of which bring together the word S3XY. Tesla has already promised other electric cars: a roadster and a tractor, and work is also being done on a smaller, cheap electric car.
The Y model is premiered in several European countries these days. In the Long Range version, which will be available on the Czech market, the Y model is equipped with an 82 kWh battery (the user usable is 76 kWh), with which it has a range of around 505 kilometers according to WLTP, we are really waiting for around 460 kilometers.
The average consumption is given as 16.9 kWh / 100 kilometers, thanks to the fast 250kW charging (with Supercharger V3 chargers, or Ionity chargers), you can complete the range of one hundred kilometers in five minutes of charging. At home, you can charge with 11 kW.
The drive is provided by two motors, each on one axle. Together they have an output of 340 kW and a torque of 493 Nm. It reaches the “hundred” in 5.1 seconds, the maximum speed is over 215 km / h. All information applies to the Long Range design, the Performance version then offers higher performance and maximum speed and a slightly smaller range.
