TRIBUNNEWS.COM – The President’s younger brother Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani, Hashmat Ghani, says it has accepted the takeover of state power by Taliban.
However, he called for the formation of an inclusive government.
Talk to AlJazeera, Saturday (21/8/2021), Ghani said, recognizing the new order in Kabul was a necessity “for the Afghan people”.
Especially, the withdrawal of the last foreign troops will be done soon.
Over the past few days, Ghani has met with Taliban leaders.

He said he agreed to recognize the transition of power as a signal to influential political and cultural figures, as well as businessmen.
Ghani also said that if businessmen tried to escape from Afghanistan, will “destroy” the country’s economy and the future as a whole.
Even though her sister Ashraf Ghani, had fled last Sunday (15/8/2021), he said he never intended to leave Afghanistan.
“If I run away, what will happen to my people, my tribe, my origin is here.”
“What message will it send if I run away and leave people behind in their time of need?” he said.
