If among the men, AS Monaco is already in trouble with a view to qualifying for the group stage of the Champions League, two French teams will try to join the PSG in the female competition. Engaged in dams, Bordeaux and Lyon are only one step away from reaching this first objective.

Bordeaux will have to whip

After beating the Swedish team of Kristianstads, the Girondines of Bordeaux are all close to securing a place in the group for their first participation in the queen European competition. However, in order to get there, the daughters of Patrice Lair are going to have to achieve a real feat. Indeed, the draw was not lenient with them since they will have to go through a huge pitfall called Wolfsburg. Double winner of the competition (2013 and 2014), and still a finalist for the 2019-2020 edition, the German team represents a high quality opponent. In constant progression, the Bordeaux team will have to take a step higher in order to join the group stage of the Champions League.

For its part, theOlympique Lyonnais will have to get rid of Levante. Continental cador of the last decade, the Rhone team should make short work of their Spanish opponent. Especially since it remains on a bitter failure last season after winning the previous five editions between 2016 and 2020, a feeling of revenge is therefore palpable within this team. The various meetings will take place on August 31 and 1is September for the first leg matches while the return leg will take place on September 8 and 9. With regard to the group stage for which the Paris Saint Germain is already qualified, the draw for the pools will take place on September 13th.
