MacBook Pro Design Concept With Apple Pencil Dock Officially Patented

Jakarta, Selular.ID – Previous reports suggest that Apple is planning to remove the Touch Bar from the MacBook Pro line completely. According to a PatentlyApple report, the US Patent and Trademark Office has published a new patent for the MacBook Pro with a Pencil dock rather than a Touch Bar.

Obviously, Apple has officially patented the concept of the new MacBook Pro design with the Apple Pencil Dock at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

This dock is placed exactly where the Touch Bar would be, which is right above the keyboard. The dock is also attached to the laptop so it can be closed when the Pencil is placed there. Apparently, the Pencil dock replaced the Top F key row with a functional symbol that lights up on the Pencil itself.

As is well known, the Touch Bar on the MacBook Pro comes as Apple’s way of revolutionizing the laptop and the way users use computers. However, the touch bar is not very welcome, although this concept is recognized by some as having great potential.

The upcoming Apple MacBook Pro will come with 14-inch and 16-inch displays and will feature a Mini-LED backlit display. The new report also claims that Quanta Computer will be in charge of the final assembly of the upcoming MacBook devices.

Although the launch date is not yet known, the report suggests that the device will go official in the second half of this year. There are also reports suggesting that the company is re-incorporating MagSafe magnetic charging into MacBooks.
