Aug 21 (Reuters) – Several migrant boats, carrying a total of 102 people, were rescued in the Pas-de-Calais Strait on Saturday, the Channel and North Sea Maritime Prefecture reported.
The Gris-Nez Regional Operational Surveillance and Rescue Center (CROSS) was informed that several migrant boats were in difficulty in the Pas-de-Calais Strait, she said in a statement.
A rescue operation was then carried out by the Boulogne-sur-Mer rescuers with the patrol vessel Thmis and the tug Abeille Languedoc. (Written by Jean Terzian)
