“When I first came to the square, I looked around and saw such a beautiful actress there. And I asked where the director was, because I knew it was a woman, and I’ve worked with women in the past, but I didn’t know this one. And I saw a movie star and I wondered where the director was … And she told me: It’s me. So I thought: God. You should play in that movie, not shoot it, you’re beautiful, “he said.

“When you see someone beautiful, you think that maybe she doesn’t have much talent, but she is a really fantastic director and she made a great film,” said the actor, adding that he is very happy that the film has finally had its world premiere.

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Czech Republic and the most prestigious film festival in Central and Eastern Europe. It belongs to category A together with festivals in Cannes, Berlin, Venice, San Sebastian, Moscow, Montreal, Shanghai or Tokyo. A total of 120 films will be screened during the festival, of which 32 will be premieres.
