American diplomats struck again by the “Havana syndrome”

It is a soap opera worthy of the best spy novels. According to the Wall Street Journal, at least two US officials stationed in Germany exhibited a set of symptoms better known as “Havana Syndrome.” A mysterious disease that has regularly affected American diplomats abroad for several years.

Headaches, nausea, hearing pain, fatigue: US officials have found themselves unable to work. Faced with the persistence of symptoms, they had to be treated. Without giving more details, American diplomats told the “Wall Street Journal” that other American officials have recently been affected in various European countries.
