If you have not yet been vaccinated, you can still make an appointment quickly. The last chance for your first shot is Wednesday, September 8, and the one for your second shot on Wednesday, September 29. There are also free walk-in moments for the residents of Berlaar, Duffel, Lier, Nijlen and Ranst who have not yet been vaccinated. Pre-registration is then not necessary, but you must bring your identity card with you.
These free walk-in moments take place on Friday August 27 and September 3 from 7 to 9 pm (Janssen vaccine, from 18 years), and on Saturday 28 August from 12 to 3 pm (first injection Pfizer, from 12 years).
“From Friday 1 to Friday 15 October we will open a vaccination point in the Lierse Heilig Hartziekenhuis. We may extend that period. If that is not possible, we will move to the Heilige Familiekerk on Berlaarsesteenweg. I already had a conversation about this with dean Jan Verheyen,” says Mayor Frank Boogaerts (N-VA).
In the primary care zone Pallieterland, almost 81% of the total population received a first injection. More than 73% are fully vaccinated.
