Unlike the Vixion without R which still maintains the 150 cc engine minus the VVA.

Vixion R uses a 155 cc 6-speed engine equipped with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology.

This VVA is similar to today’s car engines which have two durations of noken as the valve in order to regulate the fuel mist that enters the combustion chamber according to engine conditions.

At low and high revs, the axle duration settings differ so that the torque is evenly distributed at all engine speeds.
