(Reuters) – The United States extended until September 21 the closure of its land borders with Canada and Mexico for all travel deemed non-essential, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This decision, announced on Twitter by the Department of Homeland Security, is taken despite the announcement by Canada of the reopening of its borders to all Americans fully vaccinated since August 9.
