While the health situation in Tarn-et-Garonne shows high viral circulation (incidence rate of 287 per 100,000 inhabitants on August 18) and that the hospital blood pressure is 56%; Catherine Fourcherot, secretary general of the prefecture and sub-prefect of the district of Montauban, visited this Wednesday, accompanied by Mr. David Billetorte, director of the departmental delegation of ARS Occitanie in Tarn-et-Garonne, the multi-professional house of health (MSP) of Labastide Saint-Pierre, on the occasion of an afternoon dedicated to vaccination.
Almost 50,000 injections already performed
One way to recall the role played by city health professionals (doctors, nurses, midwives and pharmacists) in the vaccination campaign alongside the seven centers set up in the department. Nearly 50,000 injections have already been carried out by these professionals in Tarn-et-Garonne where 62.3% of the population had received a first injection on August 8 while 51.4% had a complete vaccination course.
