In order to claim the credit, the employer pays the employee qualified family leave wages in an amount equal to at least 2/3 of the employee’s regular pay rate, multiplied by the number of hours the employee would have been scheduled to work for otherwise, not to exceed $ 200 per day and $ 12,000 in total for the leave employees took from April 1, 2021 through September 30, 2021.
