On August 1, 1980, Gudrun Wagenpfahl began her training at what was then Raiffeisenbank Hammelburg eG. Now she was honored by the board of directors of VR-Bank Bad Kissingen eG, Michael Kaiser, at a small ceremony for her 40 years of service.
After completing her training, the young bank clerk worked in customer advisory services in Hammelburg. After graduating as a banking specialist, she managed the branches in Unter- and Obererthal. The mother of two paused twice and took parental leave before moving to the credit back office department in May 1999.
A weakness for numbers
Due to her penchant for numbers, she was mainly responsible for controlling ten years later. The jubilee keeps her specialist knowledge up to date with seminars, since the merger with VR-Bank Bad Kissingen-Bad Brückenau eG she has been a competent and reliable employee in the area of overall bank management, the laudation said. Since then she has been supporting department head Thomas Steinmetz with her knowledge. Executive Board Kaiser praised the colleague: “You are well-versed and structured. You can clearly display sober figures!” Steinmetz also emphasized that her friendly and helpful manner makes her a valued employee. red
