Handling COVID-19 medical waste – ANTARA News


Officers move bags containing hazardous and toxic medical waste (B3) at the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC), Kemayoran, Jakarta, Tuesday (17/8/2021). The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, stated the need for quick and appropriate actions related to the management of COVID-19 medical waste, which includes Hazardous and Toxic Materials (B3), which in July 2021 saw an increase of 18 million tons.
