The incidence of the coronavirus decreases, the occupation in ICUs grows and the rate of vaccination decreases
The cumulative incidence begins to decline and increasingly at a faster pace, is already in the 415.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants to 14 days. Even so, Galicia, Castilla y León, Cantabria, Navarra, the Basque Country, Madrid, Extremadura, Andalusia and the Balearic Islands continue with an incidence above the average for the country. Coronavirus cases also decrease, there have been 25,726 new infections since last Friday August 13. However, the number of deaths per day is increasing, which in the last 24 hours must be regretted 125.
Income in Intensive Care Units have gone up this weekend. Currently, there are three communities whose ICUs are at extreme risk, they are the Community of Madrid, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. They are complicated days, with a lot of movement. So, the Valencian Community has extended the restrictions current until September (curfew in 66 municipalities and limit of people per meeting). The Balearic Islands want to continue limiting the meetings of non-cohabitants between 02:00 and 06:00.
This weekend, the vaccination rate against the coronavirus has fallen again. It is the lowest figure of the last month, since from August 13 to 16, 498,436 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been inoculated, compared to 990,941 from July 16 to 19. At the moment, 29 million people are immunized. It would be necessary to put 3.2 million punctures in two weeks to reach 70%.
