Another 163 people were diagnosed with the new coronavir virus in Estonia last day, but no new deaths have been reported with the Covid-19 virus-related disease, the Health Department said on Monday.
2684 analyzes were performed last day, thus the proportion of positive tests was 6.1%. A total of 1,689,280 tests were performed in Estonia to detect infection with the new coronavirus.
The total number of confirmed infections in Estonia has reached 137,155, and 84,740 people have been confirmed to recover.
In total, 1279 people died in Estonia with Covid-19.
There are currently 91 Covid-19 patients in the hospitals. Ten patients are in intensive care and eight of them are undergoing artificial lung ventilation.
The 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population, estimated by the Estonian Department of Health, has risen to 256.59.
A total of 691,443 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Estonia, including 597,665 people who have completed the vaccination course.
