Over a million corona cases since the start of the pandemic

New York City has passed the one million corona cases mark since the pandemic began, according to authorities. The health authority of the metropolis on the US east coast published corresponding figures on Saturday. Most of the cases were detected by PCR tests, but the statistics also include “probable” infections that were recorded, for example, by antigen tests or on the basis of disease symptoms.
