As quoted from Siakap Keli, due to the increasing number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand, a man from Malaysia was desperate to lock his wife from Thailand and their two children in the house. Not without reason, it is intended so that his wife and children do not contract COVID-19.
His wife and two children were locked up for almost a week in a two-story shophouse they lived in in Hatyai, Songkhla, Southern Thailand. Reportedly the man did not allow his wife and two children to go out of the house so as not to contract the Corona virus.
Feeling annoyed, the wife also reported the actions of her husband who had locked herself and her children in the house. According to information from the Head of the Hatyai Police, Pol. Cabbage. Akrawut Taneerat, a 43-year-old man from Kuala Lumpur, has been in Hatyai with his wife and two sons aged 5 and 7 since the Corona pandemic broke out in March last year.
“His wife was worried that something bad would happen, so she filed a police report today and hoped the police could help,” Akrawut said.
Akrawut also said that the man apparently suffered from a mental disorder. Because of this, the police persuaded the man to seek treatment at the hospital.
