As a spokesman for the Federal Police Department of the airport in Frankfurt am Main announced on Sunday, the Airbus A340 wanted to take off in the direction of Cancún at around 11.30 a.m., before the German air traffic control alerted the officials with the information about so-called “unruly passengers” (unruly passengers).

When the emergency services arrived, it turned out that four passengers of Indian origin were responsible for the emergency call. These were spread over several rows of seats on board, but apparently belonged together.

Despite the ban and repeated requests to switch off their smartphones during the start-up process, the four men between the ages of 18 and 27 vehemently refused to investigate. Even more disturbing was the fact that other passengers had photographed the messages sent back and forth by the four men and translated them into French with the help of an Internet translator.

Apparently something went wrong, so that it was briefly assumed that the four Indian men had planned a suicide attack. The fact that the men only carried small hand luggage and had not checked in any suitcases caused further unrest.

Without further ado, the entire machine was turned inside out by the law enforcement officers who had arrived and with the support of an explosives sniffer dog. Fortunately, the initial suspicion was refuted.

As it turned out, a translation error had crept into the online interpreter. Nevertheless, behind the four men there was an illegal act, which one of them also proved with a confession.

According to his statements, he and his cronies intended to infiltrate the United States via Mexico. Fake Portuguese residence permits should help with this. Proceedings were initiated against the stubborn passengers for falsifying documents and violating the Aviation Security Act.

The plane to Cancun did not take off on Saturday, the four Indian men will be deported to Delhi after the investigation has been completed, according to the police.
