Joe Keery is perhaps best known for his long locks, but the Strange things The star has just revealed that he doesn’t wash his hair.
Another day, another celebrity admits to not washing. In 2019, Taylor Swift blurted out that she doesn’t wash her legs and just recently several famous people have stepped out of the woods with their controversial washing habits. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have admitted that they don’t wash regularly, and Kristen Bell and Jake Gyllenhaal have both confessed the same.
Now Joe Keery has entered the ring. A new GQ profile confirms the 29-year-old never uses shampoo or conditioner.

Referring to Joe, the GQ interview begins, “He doesn’t wash his hair. He rarely touches them except during moments of contemplation, when his fingers comb through the front strands that have fallen in an upward swell that maintains an anime level of consistency. He doesn’t get haircuts like most people get their haircuts, asking and paying for them.
Joe then revealed that a hair care brand actually offered him “a lot of money” to work with them, but he passed it on. Joe said, “I think that would be so bad for the majority of people. It would be a sold-out movement. You do not think? It’s unclear if he means it would be a sales move to take care of his hair or just work with a brand in general.
Joe also opened up about his controversial 2019 haircut. He said, “It didn’t go well. I saw some funny photos, and apparently I looked like a fucking idiot. But it does not matter. I think it’s good for everyone to look like an idiot at some point. ”
